Nothing gives me the skeevy-geevies more than guys with Asian fetishes. I think it's disgusting and utterly dirty, not to mention quite demeaning. It's DEMEANING because they CATEGORIZE girls and even name it "yellow fever." My skin is not fucking yellow and other people don't go around saying I have "white fever" or "black fever." It is IGNORANT, RACIST, DEGRADING, and DISRESPECTFUL. I'm sorry, but if you're going to flaunt the fact that you have "yellow fever," you are disrespecting the people and the culture of the women who you want to engage in sexual endeavors with, YOU SICK FREAK. Thinking about guys like this makes my skin CRAWL. Every person is an individual, every person is different, and NO ONE should group anybody--Asians are not objects. Any Asian who is okay with being with someone who has an Asian fetish is probably extremely insecure and doesn't care about their culture...this is probably the only thing more creepy/pathetic/fucked up than a loserkid who has caught the "yellow fever." *TOSSES COOKIES*
I went to visit Ricky's NYC today see my dear friend, Victoria [vodka] Petrone. After some brief catching up (because we hadn't seen each other in MONTHS!!!) we realized that we both want the same hairstyle!!! She sent this image to me today ! I'm tres excited ^______^
For 2.5 weeks this is what my friend, Jenna Shaw (the other person on the EPA design team), and I ate for late night snackage/breakfast. I believe this took off about 10 years of my pathetic life. Oy.
Dear Humans/Other Animals that have the ability to operate a computer,
This is my friend, Lizzy Baxter. Watch this video AT LEAST once so she can win and sing with effing Ingrid Michaelson. You may be asking yourselves, "Why? Why her? Why Lizzy Baxter?" and I will now tell you why.
1. JUST LISTEN TO HER (and cry a little..I know I did)
2. SHE'S AWESOME/HILARIOUS
3.SHE WORKS AT THE HARRY MART
4. HER HAIR IS SO HEALTHY IT HAS THE CAPABILITY TO TURN PLATINUM BLOND AND BACK AGAIN WITH A MINIMAL SPLIT END COUNT
5. BECAUSE I SAID SO (:
It is wonderful to see an artist who has a message and isn't afraid to create interactive pieces. I love seeing the kids ask questions, volunteers giving their time to relay a message, and old clothes being put to good use. Fabric waste and sustainability are big passions of mine, so seeing someone explain exactly how much a New Yorker wastes in fabric through artistic methods is MORE THAN INSPIRING!
"Where is My Mind?"
This song is breathtaking whether done by the Pixies or Maxence Cyrin. I NEED to learn this. Not only does this piece rekindle my love for piano, but my love for the old pictures as well.
(Start watching around 3:10)
My research for the EPA has been to create a sustainable garment through adaptable design in order to prolong the use of clothing. This design concept would essentially reduce the amount of fabric waste. This shoe design is basically what I had to design but for an outer garment. It's great to see that big corporations are being more innovative with their merchandise (: (: (:
My most memorable college memory belongs to last Saturday. A band played "Twist and Shout" by the Beatles (one of my favs) at a party. Everyone was extremely in high spirits, screaming, yelling, and dancing. I honestly cannot even begin to explain the awesomeness of those 5 minutes. I'll go in detail in my written diary because I want to remember every single iota of feeling/beat/note/aura of the whole song. SO, SO GOOD. And I don't even care if I sound really effing dumb right now!!
